Rapid Pressure Hemostatic Drug Delivery and Microsystem Design Based on Battlefield Trauma

Abstract The battlefield rapid pressure hemostatic microsystem maximizes hemostasis efficiency. Battlefield wound has the characteristics of blood loss and irregular surface, which needs to be treated in a very short time. existing method poor efficiency no sterilization disinfection effect. Therefore, we reported based on gas generated by chemical reaction. Before device is used, two chemicals are isolated. During hemostasis, flexible applied mixed chemically reacted. And large amount reaction causes balloon expand exert lateral longitudinal surface wound, so that quickly closed. At same time, drug storage unit under release surface. In addition, an endothermic effect, can rapidly cool pressures process were analyzed numerical simulation. experiment, maximum reached 270mmHg, meeting requirements hemostasis.
